whatcha gonna do?
May. 4th, 2023 11:14 am* there was a score of lps yesterday from a friend. i about peed my pants when i saw "london calling" was one of them. =D i was FULL ON gimme gimme gimme squee gimme and i will love it and pet it and call it george when i saw it.
* the house hunt has a new development! we put the offer in on the lake house two days ago and haven't heard from them yet. not super surprising: midwestern time tables are fucking weird to me AND the owner of the house doesn't have a house phone and, apparently, his cell broke. we went in pretty low and put it down as FHA funding, the latter of which probably scared them off. we can do a conventional, but 20% down would make liquid funds a lot lower than i like them to be. i guess we'll just have to see -- i actually want to do the conventional because of the stupid new mortgage thing that forces buyers with better credit to pay more than those with lower credit scores. *shakes head* anyway, if it's meant to be, it will happen. if not? it won't. lol
most likely it will go through with a move in date of the first week of august, because mister just found out that he's going to portland for that week. OF COURSE.
* i reached out to a horse hauling company and it seems my $3000 horse will cost $3500 to ship to the midwest. the company was used to haul justify to a few races (note: i do not like horse races; i do not like that industry at all.) so that's good to know. of course they probably used the GOOD haulers for that horse and my dakota will get some skeezy trucker who'll use his money for truck stop parking lot fun on the way back. fine by me as long as he safely gets my boy where needs to be.
* it's chilly this week after last week's mini heatwave. i need to enjoy it while i can. =\

writing has become a trickle again, but i'll take that. quality over quantity, i tell myself, is better than the alternative.
