"is that a well bucket? i feel like i'm in /the ring/"

— i'm currently watching /deadstream/ on netflix — a surprisingly decent and fun horror movie. i watched it when it first came out and a few other times when it was on prime, so it's great for half-attention watching while i write this and contemplate bed. 

we had a great day today, with only one small incident that made both kid and i pissy. miss shirley chicken got in the dog area again — even after we thought we had thwarted her. >.< tomorrow we'll do one more thing to see if it works, and if it doesn't? girl's going to get her wings clipped. or wing. i don't know if you're supposed to do both wings or just one. 

anyway, it was pretty cold (for me), so we stayed inside as much as we could. i made bread, putzed around in the house, read a bit, hung out with the girl, talked to the mister as often as he could call, then watched the 2nd episode of /dragula: titans season 2/ with the girl. 

it's the closest i can get to drag shows at the moment and, beyond that, it's fabulous. spooky drag is so much fun. 

tonight it's raining, so that means waterlogged horse poo tomorrow. JOY. thirty seven chickens, two horses, four dogs, two inside cats, two barn cats....and they're all spoiled rotten, so demand 3x the amount of care that normal creatures would. 

after two goats, an alpaca or two, and a goose i can name steve gooscemi, i'll be done. except for one more horse. horse math is like chicken math. 

ha! i just got jumpscared by the movie. =D
