I'm tired.

liminal_space* kid has been having some issues recently and the pandemic/isolation is not helping. she woke me up at midnight to talk and we sat for over an hour and it helped her enough to get some rest. =\ i see so much of my own "brain workings" in her that i feel terrible; it's a struggle being us sometimes.
* the verdict yesterday:
* i've been playing a STUPID game called "fallout vault" and it pisses me off in very specific AND general ways. games that have such large amounts of down time are not my favorite, but this one is especially annoying. that said, they have balanced things in such a way that it keeps me clicking AND complaining. i don't know that this specific video game/lori relationship is long for this world.
* because puppy got up at 5:45 and i didn't get to sleep until 1:30, i am really tired. i'm going to see if mister can do horses w/kid today. maybe.
we're having smitty put down on sunday and...yeah.
yeah.

* nights like last night make me feel even closer to a jobquitting decision. i was lucky enough to be able to stay at home with bebekid when she was super wee and we have worked -hard- to create an environment for her to thrive in, but i think the next few years me being more present (not being gone before she wakes up, not being gone until way after she gets home) will do nothing but be good for her. and me. so, most likely i will be informing my principal then our DO about my decision right after i go pick up all my classroom stuff on 6/1.
* soooo, today i have an astronomy lecture to watch then i'm going to make the bed, grab a book and read/rest.
