liminal_spacemore for posterity than anything else....
~ we spent the afternoon at mister's cousin's daughter's house (mister's cousin said she and i are now sisters, and that feels pretty good — it's nice to find people you click with, and for me? family is often hard to find.) and i ate THE BEST homecooked food i've had in a long, long time. it really reminded me of my growing-up thanksgiving days.
~ my little family could not be more diametrically different than the people gathered (politically and hunting-wise) but man, there was zero bullshit and loads of happy.
~ everything was over by 4:30, so we were home in more than enough time to get the chickens to bed, fill waters, and tuck everyone in. it's been SUPER cold (to me) with lows dropping into the teens. it's only going to get colder, so ugh. UGH.

tomorrow we need to do more to keep chickens secure and get a ramp set up for our old boy onslow to get up and down the stairs. saturday afternoon/evening we have something at mister's parents' where i may or may not be forced to tell his stupid sister to shut her pie hole if she gets mouthy. sunday, kid and i are doing a sea glass christmas crafty thing. i do NOT like being this busy when i'm not at home. >.<
i'm going to try to post on DW and xpost to LJ for the next while, just because i'm getting tired of not having a paid account there. meh.
