+ i'm reaching out to the hive mind regarding credit scores. both mister and i have had our credit scores go down because of the high balances on the credit cards. the internet gave me conflicting advice on how to pay them down to get the most credit score bang for my buck.

some sources say to pay revolving credit down to 60% then 30% then 10% over the course of three or four months. some sources say you'll get the same results by just paying them off. anyone know the real deal?

i've decided to pay off the car in six months vs. this month, even though i want to get out from under that payment. i figure six months more of payments will up my credit score, too.

pfft!

speaking of my car, she's off on her right fore. :( if she were a horse, we'd be calling the vet. since she's not, we have to figure out where we can take her — because tesla fixing people are a little hard to find outside of certified tesla centers.

i live in the middle of nowhere, so the closest center is like....three hours away.

mister thinks it's the bushings (bushing? sashing? boogers?), but she's on very light duty until we get it fixed. which means i'm going to have to drive the truck, which is never my favorite thing to do: it's so BIG. :(

nothing can happen for at least a week or two, since he's gone to CA until friday and when he gets back, he'll probably have all sorts of work stuff to do to catch up on. no matter what, we need to get it fixed because even though we've been talking about getting me a new car better suited for northern minnesconsin roads and weather, i'm desperate to get All Things Paid Off.

(plus i want a tractor. shh.)

+ there's a turkey breast in the crock that should feed both the skinny dog and i for a week. i also miscalculated the number of hard boiled eggs i made yesterday and instantpotted 24 without thinking about the man being gone for the week. skinny dog should get some of those, too — she can have the yolks and i can eat the whites.

beyond that, i'll make some vegetarian curry and potato soup so the kid and i both will have dinners and/or lunch to pull from.

food is always a struggle around here with two very distinct dietary restrictions/preferences — kid's vegetarian with no limits on anything else, and i focus on clean eating, low carb, low fat, and making sure i get my protein and veggies in each day. or at least TRY to meet my protein and vegetable goals.

i was hoping to get a ride in today, but we're a bit windy and cold, so maybe we'll just take the day to regroup and relax, since the next week without mister is going to be busy. light a candle for me. ;)

+ i got a really adorable pink and wavy wig for d&d nights, and i'm looking forward to the next time we play! kid said i should wear it the next time we go out, so i may!

pink hair, flannel shirt, truck drivin' girl....that's going to be me. lol

ok. i am thinking i may make some bread today. but i'm also thinking it's 4p and why not allow myself a bit of time to just putter about. or i could just cave to the dramatic husky who is BEMOANING the fact his favorite human is gone and lay on the ground with him and hand feed him nibbles.
