In a Nutshell

* due to a miscommunication, we need to come up with 20% down on the farm instead of 5%. THAT IS A LOT OF PERCENT. we're able to cover it, but -just barely- and i keep telling myself that as soon as our current house sells, all will be fine and dandy. the good thing about 20% down vs. 5% down? our farm payment will be close to $700 lower a month. i'm ok with THAT. 

[pls note the princess in me wanted the 5% down AND a lower house payment.]

* that is IF WE EVER GET THE FARM. the buyers till haven't found a place (supposedly they were going to put an offer in on one yesterday, but we've heard dick) and OUR agent did not air tight some of the language so there actually is an out for them if they just get frustrated and say eff it. a california agent wouldn't have made that mistake. (ok, they could have. it's all good and i'm trying really hard not to be all "bitch, cross your t's and dot your i's." not everyone is as detail oriented about that sort of stuff.)
