yeasty beasties

while bread is mixing, i'm taking advantage of a few spare moments to pop in with an entry. everything feels so discombobulated right now, like there's no consistency in my life which is categorically untrue, but the thespian royalty that i am needs to escalate strife whenever she can. 

i had an early dermatology appointment, so toodled off to that, got my medications renewed for another six months, and got a little weird scabby thing on my leg frozen off. 

she said, "this is going to be spicy" and it was! but i kept telling myself, "you have been kicked in the small of the back by a horse, flew and landed in mud and shit, blacked out....so this is nothing, girl."

it helped. 

after that, a quick visit to the store for salad mix, grapefruit, and cabbage (it's soup time, yo!), and a chat with a guy who has one of the new EV mustangs. we compared cars, he showed me his, i showed him mine, and i gotta say....the mustang has my vote for next car if we go EV. it's so cute! i don't know how practical it is for WEATHER, but maybe it would be ok? clearance is what kills the tesla. ugh. 

on the way home. i realized that we went from gorgeous fall colors two days ago to naked grey branches scratching the sky. =\ it made me...not quite SAD, but maybe a bit melancholy? not sure. what i am sure of is that you blink around here and it turns into winter.
