Q&A - Tell me about it
Jan. 23rd, 2013 06:39 amIn an effort to worm my way into your brainz (BRAINZ!), I shall start asking a variety of questions on a semi-weekly basis.
Just like a chain letter, you will receive great luck if you respond (cue skeery music) and if you don't respond, you may end up......not sharing information with me.
=D
QUESTION #1 -
What do you prefer to wear when sleeping and why?
Please answer in comments and have your WONDERFUL GOOD LUCK today. :))

Date: 2013-01-23 03:53 pm (UTC)Oh, and socks in bed? Torture!! When I was a baby, I used to cry when my mom tried to put footie pajamas on me. She actually had to cut the feet off of all my pj's or I'd scream and run around the house, shaking my poor imprisoned tootsies!

Date: 2013-01-23 03:55 pm (UTC)I wear a T-shirt (long-sleeved sometimes in the winter). Don't like anything on the bottom half of me, cuzza it getting squinched up when I roll around. Also even if I think socks will be good when I get in bed when it's cold, I inevitably want them the hell off, feel constricted by them, before long.
Was in an interesting conversation with some other fucked-up people not too long ago in which we discussed our weird sleeping hang-ups/particularities. Everybody had at least one. The "escape hatch" (one of mine) was not uncommon.
Anyway, I dig the chain letter questions (and folks' answers). Do keep 'em coming!

Date: 2013-01-23 07:55 pm (UTC)Other weather: A nightgown (flannel preferred). I like the way they fall, and they seem warmer than pajamas for some reason. Maybe because they have so much more fabric to bunch up against me...
In all seasons: one or more cats as accessory heating pads.

Date: 2013-01-24 08:36 pm (UTC)Then, the place I lived in last year had lots of windows and a street outside and since I like to lounge in my nightwear both before going to bed and after getting up in the AM, I needed pants. I found capri-length sleep pants that were really thin, silky cotton. And they worked well. No bunching.
Then!! When I started staying overnight more at my boyfriend's, and his bedroom has no heat, I got flannel-ish sleep pants and I've learned to like them.
And in the winter - socks. Always.
But if it's really hot, it's still a nightie. Or a cami and underwear.
Probably much more than you really wanted to know, huh?
