We did a brunch with my side. Brunched, played board games, came home and was exhausted. Took a 2.5 hour nap and still exhausted.

In Easter's defense, I've been exhausted pretty much all weekend though -- We went out of town for a comedy show. Did dinner beforehand, and drinks (boy did we drink) afterwards before taking a cab back to the hotel. I didn't sleep well (I liked the hotel mattress, but didn't like that it was a double bed....I like to sprawl). So I think it's partly that I'm not as young as I used to be. And I think it's also partly MS fatigue. Life!

We were in the 70s today! The weather was beautiful... just cooked a chicken, veggies, etc.. Stephen came over and we went for a walk with the dogs... hung out in lawn chairs watching all the animal antics for awhile. Calm, relaxing and content day!

We started the day climbing a mountainside to an outcropping of rock where our church holds a sunrise service. It takes about 20 minutes of climbing up a fairly steep path. Certainly got the heart beating at 6:30am. But singing on top of a mountain is cool.

Came home and did a little bit of food prep work. Then got showered and dressed for the regular church service. Was a very nice, festival, celebration service.

Came home and prepared dinner. We decided against a "traditional" (for our area) ham meal, and instead made a Tex Mex feast of enchiladas, fajitas, Mexican rice, and the like. It was wonderful! It required a lot of dicing and chopping prep work, but we had done a good bit of it on Saturday.

After eating and cleaning up we hid eggs for the kids and they found them. Then we sat around chatting. Then ate some leftovers later.

It was a long day, but a good day, and we were tired. But it was a good tired.

And that's probably a heck of a lot more than you wanted to know. =D

Hmmmm, spent the day before Easter at Gulfstream Park, morning works, excellent races -- Florida Derby and Gulfstream Oaks. (Ask me about a filly named Dreaming of Julia.) Spent Easter itself editing pictures at breakfast, packing up to leave, doing airportly things and flying back -- which included a long layover in Cleveland where I propped up my feet and did more photo editing on the iPad. Did I mention the round trip ticket was cheap but had weird routes? Lol
