Who Wants a Clean House?
Sep. 16th, 2018 08:38 am(answer: i do)
* without our cleaning lady coming, my house would truly never be clean. i would pick stuff up, but really cleaning is beyond my ken. she comes every two weeks, and when i come home on the friday she's here, there's this warmth that blossoms inside of me: the warmth of happy. lol :( she's my reasonably priced every-other-week pinesol and granite cleaner (i love the smell of it!) aroma therapy.
* yesterday was...not a normal saturday.
a) the girl who was going to take kid's horse to the equestrian center (omfg — i have a house cleaner and an equestrian center...i know, i know.) has a step up trailer. you would think it wouldn't be an issue for a horse to step up maybe 6 inches and go into the trailer. you would be wrong. actually, going in wasn't too bad the first time.
at the ec, i think we rushed him out, and the step down was a little freaky for him. he was breathing heavily and obviously a little stressed, so i round penned him, he rolled around, and was happy. =D kid's lesson was a great and horse boi did wonderfully. the overall lesson was a little bad — one of the girls fell off at a fast assed canter. thank goodness she was ok.
after the lesson, we tried to get smitty in the trailer and he was having diddly shit none of it. i could practically here him saying "yeah, going in is no biggie, but then you make me jump off a cliff when i'm getting out and i don't like backing up and fuck you lol assholes".
if my trainer hadn't have been there, i'm not 100% sure we could have got him in, but we did. it took about 15 minutes and it was a learning thing for the girl who hauled and me, but still.
horses.
kid rode with darian (the girl hauling) back home — on the way, a wasp got in and landed on kid's leg....she put her arm on it and STING. i guess she screamed and darian was all "dude, don't die...you have to handle this on your own right now because i can't help you" haha! poor kid was teary and laughing when she got out. after ice and an otter pop, things were better.
oh, and smitty got out of the trailer with minimal fuss. :) why? because my trainer knows what the fuck she's doing.
* we rushed home after all this, got ready, and drove an hour into town to go see a movie with our familyfriends. we saw "the nun" and it was a fun little movie...but there needed to be more scary nun. o.O she's my favorite scary thing right now.
then we rushed home after that, and it was relax time. =D
* today there's laundry for the week (stupid laundry), some tidying up, grilling some asada for dinner this week, getting meal prep on, and — as always — horses. =D in fact, i think i need to get dressed and do some horse stuff this morning. i think i want to schlep my saddle home and clean it today. *nod*
* speaking of horses and saddles, i'm going to go on full on frugal mode (ok, partial frugal mode) and save $$ to go to the cowboy christmas expo in december with my trainer. i can't go all the days, but i can swing some of them. =D trainer will have a booth there, so we can help out there and just do fun stuff. excites!

time to do.
