Hi, folks.
The quarantinelockdownidon'tevenknowwhattocallitanymore thing continues on. It's really weird for an introverted extrovert like myself; I have never in my life felt so conflicted about just existing from day to day. On one hand? YAY, NO PEOPLE! On the other? BOO, NO PEOPLE! I've a mess of a brain right now, and not in a good way.
Speaking of not in a good way brain messes, yesterday I had bad allergies/sinus pressure and Mister gave me some Tylenol cold and sinus night time medicine. At like 3p. o.O I fell asleep around 4 and woke up a few times absolutely unable to wake myself up enough to move. It was really scary! My heart was racing, I tried to call out to someone and there were a few points I truly felt trapped in a nightmare. Total horror movie waiting to happen.
And now we segue into horror movies. The little is fourteen next month (I can't believe it) and has been wanting to watch scary movies after a lifetime of being scared of Goosebumps. (Insert eyeroll here. Sometimes I wonder if she's even related to me.) So, I have been easing her into things. Sunday we watched "Vampires in the Bronx" on Netflix. She said it was baby stuff. Last night we watched "#Alive" -- also on Netflix -- and she said it wasn't scary...although if she thought about it, she would probably get scared. I knew exactly what she meant, because it's the THINKING that will get you every time. It's why I lost sleep over "Nightmare on Elm Street" and why I wouldn't swim in our pool at night for a long time because I KNEW there was a trap door that, if I were in the water at night and alone, would open up and let a shark in. Yep. Thank you "Jaws".
She's pushing for more scary movies, so I need to give her a few days to see what happens. If she's good, I'm thinking the American version of "The Ring". Or maybe "Poltergeist".
We'll see.

I feel like a fat and fluffy rabbit right now, and that's not how an aspiring equestrian should feel. I did go to Pilates with my trainer last week! That's a step in the right direction. lol
