i was a shitty waitress that got great tips. let me rephrase that. i did a great job of taking orders, delivering food, fixing mistakes, and taking money -- all while not being slow. but i was not perky nor flirty nor friendly -- in fact, i acted annoyed all the time and never, not once, put up with bullshit from customers. i have no idea...NO IDEA...how i managed to stay employed and make rent and a car payment.

this comes up because i find myself once again dealing with "customers" and i'm annoyed. lol today's annoyance is with someone who wants a cutting board engraved with a custom design that i am supposed to make. and i'm all "meh" and want to wait until the last minute to do it and she's all "hey! sorry to bug you, but..."

so, i'm going to finish my coffee, finish this entry, go squish the tomato in the rice (it's a thing), then work on it. go me with my business lady self.

note: when i said "post a meal" i meant pictures, but i also meant words. i want to see your food! even sad, sad sandwidgeses. =D

we have warm weather, people! high of 77 degrees today. we're cooling down again next week, but for a few days...heat. i'm going to go sit outside before the sun gets too intense and make some vitamin d. *nod*

with one week until shot #2, i need all the health perks i can get. for reals.

and really? that's all i have to say right now. so i should go do stuff. >.< stupid stuff.

i did the work for the custom design and sent it off. not my best work, but i don't like doing graphic design and usually don't even offer it up. if she likes one of the options, yay! if she doesn't, oh well. for the SMALL amount extra i was going to charge her, she got some good stuff.

THIS IS WHY I AM A SUCKY BUSINESS OWNER LADY.

at least our taxes will benefit from my new venture. pfft.

You're right. Every job is customer service. I thought I was going to get in trouble when a lady wanted to see if her daughter was registered so she could "vote for Trump" and I said, "there are many candidates on the ballot", but nothing was ever said.
