Those acorn woodpecker holes are both cool and also freak me out. I think my sister told me once that those were people's fingers in there that got stuck. eek!
i like your sister, lol! we saw a deadfall tree once that had to be twenty feet long with huge girth that was riddled allllllll through with these. it was sort of freaky.
