1. update on the house: there's no update. >.<

2. update on real estate agent: she is telling me very nicely to calm TF down, it's going to be OK. 

3. update on meringue cookies: SU-fucking-BLIME. i'm like...a meringue cookie maker genius. we won't talk about my stupid chex holiday mix (every year the first batch blows and i have to use a thermometer on the second batch to get the goo to the right stage. not this year, though. i packaged first batch up and if it ends up in the garbage with people talking shit about my holiday chex mix skills — or lack thereof — then so be it: i am not making a second batch.) 

4. the house is a mess and i retreated to the studio where i don't have to think about the mess. i am so smrt. 

5. i took the last one of my every-day medicines. we were supposed to go to ashland today to pick up my refill, but didn't. so tomorrow morning, it's a get up and leave by 8:45 to go get it at 9:30. 

6. my murderbot fans! did you hear that apple tv picked up the series and cast alexander skarsgård as murderbot. i am pleased with that choice. 

7. i got the nicest message from a friend on instagram telling me they look forward to my photos because "some of them really tell a story." that after i decided to relearn my DSLR settings, so it's like a SIGN or something. i like signs. it really was a nice message, but this is one of the nicest humans on earth (human equivalent of a golden retriever), so i take it with a grain of salt....but still enjoy it. =D

8. i have promised and not delivered on written mail for some people (i'm especially looking at mallorys_camera. i suck.) i NEED to fix this, because it's weighing on my heart. 

9. i woke up early this morning to go to the restroom and peeked outside east-facing window. the sunrise was beautiful! it was 7:30 in the morning, and the fact the sun was JUST coming up was irritating and made me salty.

10. the chili crisp i had yesterday? someone (me) used too much and my mouth was on FIRE. note to self: you're so, so white so don't do that shit anymore. 

11. i glittered up some wooden snowflakes and have made a mess of almost epic proportions. we're going to be seeing glitter all over the place for the rest of the year, i bet. o.O 

& that's about it, people. hope you are all doing well!

One of the things I love about this time of year is all of the baking. I'm so glad your merguine cookies making is going so well!

As a fan of Murderbot I had not heard the news so I am so excited! Although I do not have Apple which is a bummer but maybe I can get it for a little while just to watch this show.

Yeah, seasonal hazard...

I'm a little ambivalent about the idea of a Murderbot series. Unless Martha Wells will be writing the screenplay herself.

I don't mind the sun having a lie-in. It means I don't have to get up ultra-early to photograph the sunrise.
