+ alrighty! horse feet were finished by noon, with only bluebelle being a turd. seriously, it was hard not to take it personally. lol dr. dan came at 2, gave both horses their vaccinations for the year and did misty's teeth. by the time her sedative kicked in, i was afraid she was going to topple over, but she didn't. her teeth were more or less fine, with just some sharp points filed down (the sound made me cringe). 

he said she was a really nice horse. *beam*

+ i am now 5 lbs away from BWLG that i was SURE wasn't going to happen until mid-march. o.O i'm still not 100% sure i can accomplish it by next weekend, but....ok, no. that's too much for one week no matter how i look at it. still, my guess is that i'll hit 10 lbs lost in feburary — because i went back to the basics for eating. i now realize that i was just a little too looseygoosey with things in december and january; i still LOST, but not like i was used to. 

while i'm confident this 5 lbs will slip into the wild really soon, i'm holding off on booking my spa day for a bit: there's a lot of money leaving this month for horse/USPC stuff. too much, actually...i may actually have to dip into my slush fund. :( 

+ speaking of money, there's a whole new development with mister and his job. long and short: he's with company #1 and contracts to company #2. company #2 infrastructure was going to hire him but company #2's cybersecurity team put an offer in first. he was going to take it. then company #1 caught wind and offered a substantial raise + some other perks. NOW company #2 wants to hire him for a whole new position — enterprise infrastructure architect or something like that. they gave him a salary # and i shit my pants. SHIT. MY. PANTS. if that comes through, he'd be foolish not to take it. i don't know if it will really happen — because i don't believe people really make that much money a year — but if it does? 

omg. ima getting a boob job from a US plastic surgeon instead of one in mexico! lol 

but the just as good part? he'll be doing work for the new osaka lab and by damn hell, i want to go to japan. SCREW A HOTEL, I WANT TO STAY IN DAISO. 

ahem. sorry. 

at this point, with the delays and all the nonsense that's been happening, i'm not holding my breath. new job at #2 wouldn't even get an offer letter until probably 2nd week in march with a start date in april. you know, right near show season. 

i'm going to try to lose enough weight + grow taller so i can look like this:

+ ok. sounds like people are here. we have friends coming over for a visit and to drop off a set of snowshoes for me. i can hardly WAIT to see how THAT goes.
