— someone ratted me out to my body about the 30 day challenge; yesterday i spent most of the day on the couch with an ice pack on the right side of my lower back and a few muscle relaxers in my system. >.< it SUCKED because the afternoon was so absolutely gorgeous that i wanted nothing more than to ride. 

i think the strained muscle came from moving heavy furniture a few times last week, a sticky door, and who knows what else. ugh. 

today i feel much better, but i'm not 100%. at least i can sit down and get up without too much pain, but bending over is still ouchy. not as bad as yesterday, but it's there behind the background, smirking and whispering FAFO. 

i do NOT want to FAFO, so i'm not going to ride today. i mean it. not going to do it. 

— want to help me pick an outfit? look at the stuff in both of these links and tell me which color you like best, the terracotta/redwood or the pine/sagestone? i like both very much and can't decide. =|

i just recently bought a pair of ariat breeches  in that mauve color (note: this is my first full price purchase of breeches in forever...and they are regular sized! it still blows my mind that i can just about go anywhere to buy clothes and they'll have my size!) and absolutely love them. 

i want to build up a bigger wardrobe of riding clothes that will last me through to my goal weight — and some things are more forgiving to body changes than others. like i LIKE having more room to groove in shirts, so a large will probably be where i land with them, even though mediums will have a more traditionally desired fit. for bottoms, they'll be in the 8-10 range (so medium?) which is just fine. 

i keep my eyes open for great deals on used pieces, but all of them seem to be either too big or too small. #goldilocks

— today i'm working on a project for a content creator i often work with, and today is really almost gone, so i better get to it!

My favorite are Kerrits full seat riding tights. I have the winter and summer versions. I use those in schooling shows, too. For whites, I currently don't have a favorite.

flowers always make things prettier! it's what i like about that collection, too! and today i'm better than i was yesterday, but they're not letting me ride until i recover. smart, but annoying. =D

I'm partial to the terracotta, but which one looks better may depend on how the colors blend with your skin tone and hair color.

the dark for SURE goes better with my skin (and looks good on the horse), but the green looks just as good on her. hair doesn't matter that much because I'm usually in a helmet when i have my riding stuff on and when the helmet is off, i'm wearing a baseball hat....so i can color coordinate that to match the outfit. lol choices choices.
