spaghetti squash for the win

liminal_spacei had my first dinner from eat clean tonight and it was delicious. it was a concoction of chicken and spaghetti squash with a nice creamy sauce and if i could figure out how to make it? i would.
the thing is, i have never figured out how to make spaghetti squash work for me. ever. not for lack of trying, either. there's just something about it that seems to be beyond my understanding, which has been fine by me up to this point. now? i know what i'm missing and need to determine what method of preparation will give me the bite and flavor i had tonight.
i ended up having half of it like i thought i would, so my ten meals may stretch to twenty. what a bargain!
mister liked his, too...a chimichurri beef with roasted veggies. it's been so long since i've had beef that i had to turn down the offered taste test — don't want to tempt the gut gods.

victoria secret has chonies on sale right now and i took advantage of it — four pair for $18 and there's free shipping. can't beat that with a stick! there are some cute bras i have my eye on, but need to get sized — for the past six months i've been living in sports bras since losing boob and band sizes have made real bras more or less fiscally irresponsible to buy. i've been buying one cheap bra at a time for the rare occasions i need one, but the one i have now is unwearable it's so big. UGH.
here's the one i'm eyeballing:
i love that little blingy flower in the front and honestly, i will buy just about anything that's this fun of a green. i'm not super fond of thin straps, but for this? i could deal.
alas, it's not on sale and i don't want to get out the measuring tape to get my size, i'll pass for now. if it goes on sale, though — i'm doing it.

ok. need to be finished in the office so i can get my pjs on and get ready for bed. farm life is tiring, y'all. ;)
