theft!

+ stealing someone else's tattoo is so gross and tacky af (much like stealing others' writing, ideas, way of moving through the world). that said? i want to steal this tattoo:

she's so cute!

i love me some medusa and all she symbolizes. plus, snakes for hair, yo! 

+ i have approximately 15 minutes of HERE before i need to go out and do farm chores and get a ride in. the weather was lovely today, except for a stretch between 1-4 when it was muggy and dumb. 

during that window, we stay inside and putter around. today, i made kid spanish rice, cleaned a bit, read, and did a quick workout. i downloaded an app called JustFit to try for the next 30 days — the idea is to start with shorter time workouts then move to longer ones as the days progress. kid worked out with me and we had fun doing it — i so love that she enjoys my company as much as she does. <3 

tomorrow i'm hoping we can go off on an adventure of thrifting and maybe pedicures. then again, i have to save money. :( i still haven't spent the $400 on horse boots — they're just sitting in my cart, mocking me. 

+ how is july almost 1/3 gone? HOW? i'm trying to figure out how to SLOW TIME TF DOWN. and yes, i ended that with a preposition. and no, i don't care. =D

speaking of shitty writing, i have stumbled upon the most horribly written drivel and am enchanted by the train wreck. where's my popcorn, i can't look away! 

i don't think it's a first draft or even a zero draft....it's just word vomit. but do i judge? maybe a little, but there's also a fair bit of admiration for the amount of loin girding that had to have gone into preparing to release those stories into the wild. 

or do they think it's "really good" and there is little to no girding? i know i never think anything i write is good until i haven't seen it for awhile then stumble upon it again — then  i'm like "this is pretty solid, i wonder who wrote it?" 

THEN i sort of give myself a little shimmy shake and tell myself i should write more. 

but i don't listen. =D

+ i've distracted myself to the point of now needing to hurry. time to change into breeches and boots and get some shit done. yeehaw. 

OF NOTE: you can't say "yeehaw" in a loud voice around misty — she takes it as a challenge to yeehaw so hard it's scary. silly pony!

I like Medusa too, she's such an interesting character.

I've definitely read some terrible but still fun fanfic out in the wild and I figure it's like candy, we can all have a little bit of terrible fun writing every now and again and it's enjoyable to do so.
